Featured Crafter

Please welcome Lisa Burton! This is a little something different this week. Lisa is a wonderful scrapbook queen. I don't scrapbook, but I know a lot of you out there do, so I wanted to share some pages with you! You'll definitely want to take a few minutes to check out her website. She does great work! Lisa is "married to a great guy", has two daughters, two cats and an "old" dog.

I asked Lisa a few questions I thought would be fun to hear answers to.

How did you get started with crafts?
I have been a crafter all my life my Granny was seamstress and even though I only use my sewing machine on paper, I feel like I got some creativity from her.

How much time per day do you spend on your crafts? Is it enough? :)
I spend a lot time on crafting, I'm a stay at home wife and mom, but my kids are 19 and 20, so I time on my hands to craft.

What is your favorite craft item to use or project to make?
Paper crafting is my craft of choice right now, but I crochet and cross stitch too.

Where do you get your inspiration (for your stamp creating or card making)?
My inspiration comes from a number of sources, it can be as complex as a fashion layout or as simple as a can of Diet Coke.

Do you have any advice for fellow crafters out there? Words of wisdom, perhaps? :)
Sometimes you need to stop before you over do a project in other words, on occasion less is more!

Lisa has some amazing scrapbook pages. She has such a "pleasing to the eye" style! I think she may have even motivated me to try out scrapbooking!

This last item was made out of a soda can. There are details on her blog!

I hope you have enjoyed meeting Lisa and Featured Crafter Friday. If you would like to be featured, please send me an email! I would be more than happy to include you! See you next Friday for another wonderful crafter!
