I can't wait for it to start snowing! How fun would it be if the snowflakes were this color?

I am looking for your opinions. You have seen how my posts are displayed now....with a preview page, a small image you can click on to make it bigger, then another page with more information and pictures. My question for you is do you like it this way?
There are some things I will keep this way for sure. For instance, the tutorials, Featured Crafter Friday, or anything that would be better displayed this way. But for my everyday posts of cards I have made or received, I could have large pictures on the main page, no preview or another page to go to. It would be more like the majority of the blogs out there. (I am not saying I want to conform...I like being different. But I want my readers to get the most out of my site.)
So should I keep it the way it is or change? (Was all that too confusing?) I look forward to hearing opinions! :)
Have a great day and stop back tomorrow for Featured Crafter Friday. Also note that I put a tab at the top of the page for Featured Crafters. This will take you to a list of just the Featured Crafters. Enjoy!

This was an Anniversary card I made for my aunt and uncle's 40th Anniversary. The paper I used is so fun and cheerful and I just love the colors.
I cut the paper into 3 pieces to make the paper stand out a little more. I used some Stampin' Up! stamps for the heart flowers and the saying at the bottom. After I colored the flower image, I mounted it on some blue paper and added glitter to the edges of the blue paper. On the sentiment, I distressed the edges with some ink and then added a little glitter around the sides. I also mounted both the images with dimensional tape. I tied a ribbon around and that was it! Enjoy!
So, what do you think about this layout? I thought I would ask after posting one this way. I think I'll give it a try a while. If I decide I don't like it....well, I can always change it. :) That's the joy of having a website...you can do whatever you want with it! :)

Here is a crazy little birthday card I made for one of my cousins. She was turning 16, so I thought this was a fun card for her. The paper is full of glitter and the colors of the paper are just so much fun! What 16 year old girl wouldn't like this? (She loved it by the way!)
I stamped the image and colored it in. Then mounted it to a purple piece of paper, then to a pink scallop square. I used my white gel pen to make some dots on the papers. I added a bunch of glitter to the image and stamped the sentiments. "Happy" is just stamped on the green paper and "birthday" is stamped, then punched with the large oval punch from Stampin' Up!. Then I distressed the edges with some blue ink and adhered it with dimensional tape. I tied a ribbon around and viola! Enjoy!

This was a card I threw together for my aunt and uncle's anniversary and made a second and gave it to my mom and step-dad for their anniversary. I used VersaMark ink for the hearts and then put glitter embossing powder over them. They are so sparkly and they add so much to the card. As well as my required glitter for the card. Then I stamped "love" and colored it in with markers. I mounted it on some green card stock and attached it to the card with dimensional tape. I tied some ribbon around the card and added a couple more pieces in different colors, too. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom in black ink to make it stand out more. I used my corner rounder to get the scallop bottom on the card. I made some dots with my white gel pen and it was set! Enjoy!

Since this Thursday is Thanksgiving...I figured I should share some thank you cards this week!
I made two of these cards. One I gave to my husband's dad and step mom after having us and a bunch of our friends visit them at their boat for the weekend. All of our friends signed the card, too! The other I gave to Alli as a thank you after I won prizes on her site.
I stamped "thank you" and punched it out with a scallop square punch. I pierced holes in the corners and went around them with my white gel pen. I added a ribbon attached with a staple and adhered the square with dimensional tape. I added some Crystal Effects to the sentiment. I added a big white flower and a smaller pink foam flower with a brad to the card. I added a bit of glitter and taa daa! Enjoy!

This was a flower tutorial I found online. I saw it here if you are interested in learning how to make these. They are really simple to make. The only thing I don't like about this is the way the glitter looked on the center circle I put on it. Otherwise I like it. The thanks stamp is from the $1 bin at Michael's. I used pearly embossing powder over the whole piece of white paper. It looks really pretty in the light. Enjoy!
November 21, 2007 - 9:00am
I really like how this card turned out. I got the paper from a blog candy I won. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and then put pearly embossing powder over it. I just love the way black and white cards look. I think there is just something so elegant about them. And the paper has so much silver on it, this card just sparkles. Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Even if you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, you can still be thankful this day. Take a minute to think of all the things you are thankful for.
These are some thank you cards I made for turkey day. I am giving the first two to Chuck's grandparents for dinners we are having at their houses. I just love the paper in these cards. I used Chefabella from Stamping Bella. I just love how festive she is. I also added a bunch of white glitter to her hat and apron.
These other two cards I just love. I sent one to a friend and the other to my dad and step-mom after they came over for turkey day this past weekend. I used my new Cuttlebug on the purple background and added a couple bits of glitter here and there on the dots. I paper pieced the apron on this with pattern paper. I just love the way it turned out. It was the first time I have tried this and I really like how it turned out. I also finally used my ticket punch and some large eyelets! Have a great Thanksgiving!
Don't forget about Featured Crafter Friday tomorrow! I have a great lady to share with you!
November 23, 2007 - 8:00am
It's Friday already, so I'll do one more thank you card for Thanksgiving week! These were a couple simple cards I used and I just love how they turned out. I was inspired by the paper. I colored the flowers in a couple colors. Both of them are different. But they are so pretty. I added a bunch of glitter to the flowers. I had to make them sparkle! Enjoy!

First off, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Ours went really well. We were in Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs, IA and we got lots of snow! It was fun to have snow for Thanksgiving. When I got back...I had all these great things in the mail!
This is a gorgeous card I got from Cheryl. She won my blog candy at the beginning of the month. I just love the colors she used! Thanks, Cheryl!
Next, is an adorable snowman card from Susan. She is a Bella friend. Oh how I love snowmen! She sent not only this card, but a bunch of bella images for me! Thank you, Susan!
Be prepared to be a little jealous of me right now...I won this great candy from Lori. She was so incredibly generous with this giveaway! I can't wait to use all the goodies she sent! Thank you so very much, Lori!
This was the card Lori sent with the winnings. It is such a pretty card! Have a great day! Enjoy!
November 25, 2007 - 6:38pm
This was a little card I made a while back. There isn't anything fancy done to this card. I just love the colors. They are very much fall colors...and I am hoping to get a couple more of them shown to you before fall is gone entirely. Enjoy!
November 26, 2007 - 6:43pm
This was a card I made for an order my dad put in. He wanted some "thinking of you" cards. This was one of them that I put together. I thought it turned out really nicely. I love the colors and the paper really sparkles! Enjoy!
November 26, 2007 - 6:54pm
What do you think about the new post layout? I think I like it. It's a bit easier to do and takes less time. I don't dread posting as much, so that is nice. I just thought I would see how others liked it.
Also, how have you been enjoying Featured Crafter Friday? I have even more great crafters lined up! I am so excited to share them with you! Let me know if there is someone you would like me to contact for this. I want to have people on here that you want to see! Have a great night!
November 27, 2007 - 5:28pm
This was one of the other sympathy cards I made for my dad's order. I wanted something a bit less feminine for this and I think I accomplished that. I just am not sure I am entirely happy with how it turned out.I do like the colors even though I am not usually a fan of brown. But I do like it with the stripe paper. I love stripes! Just love them. I don't care what ends up going with them, as long as they are there! :) No glitter on this one....since I was trying not to make it too girly! Enjoy!
November 28, 2007 - 3:49pm
This was a birthday card I made for a friend of mine. She loves animals and runs a dog walking/pet sitting business in town. I made the site for her with only a little help from my hubby. If you want to see it, it's called Happy Paws. So I thought this card was perfect for her.
I love the big words! I think they are so fun. I used glitter embossing powder and VersaMark to make the whole piece of white card stock sparkle! I wasn't sure where I liked the sentiment, so I made one with it on the top, and the other with it on the bottom. I also just love the dog paper. I got a bunch of really cute paper from JoAnn's in the dollar bin. I also picked up a bunch of really cute paper for Christmas in the dollar bins! Very simple card, but perfect for the occasion! Enjoy!
November 29, 2007 - 2:02pm
I just love these bellas! I can't seem to get enough of them! Here's a little Cosmobella card I made I thought I would share today. Her shirt is just covered in sparkles! And that paper? Gorgeous! I love how rich the paper looks. And I have to say that I just adore that sentiment. It is from Amuse and says "have a splendiferous day. (If you couldn't see in picture.) I went on a hunt for it and then ended up buying it online along with a few other things! It is a must have in my opinion! It works for so many things! Enjoy the card! The two friends I sent these to, just loved them!
Don't forget that tomorrow is Featured Crafter Friday. I have a great lady to share with you!
